The Huddersfield Repeater Group operates three repeaters, two of which are within the 70 cm UHF Amateur band (GB3HD and GB3HX) and one in the 2m band (GB7HU). All three Repeaters are located at Scapegoat Hill, 4 miles West of Huddersfield. The GB3HD and GB7HX repeaters have internet connectivity, enabling worldwide communication.
To expand the coverage, GB7HX is also connected to GB7SR (Sheffield Repeater) via the Brandmeister Yorkshire Link Network TG23530 on SLOT2. This is a STATIC talk group, so the connection is permanent. After a while, any other Dynamic talk groups you connect will be disconnected. GB3HD
WIRES X is now available 24/7 Receives on 434.825 MHz(your transmit) and Transmits on 433.225 MHz (your receive) with a CTCSS of 82.5 Hz FM / Digital repeater connected to WIRES X, operates in AMS mode, output power is 20 Watts to a folded dipole at 40 feet.
GB7HX
Now a dual-mode repeater on DMR and D-Star, using Pi-STAR It transmits on 439.575 MHz (your transmit) and receives on 430.575 MHz (your receive). It is a digital repeater connected to the BrandMeister network. The output power is 15 watts to a folded dipole at 40 feet. This is a 3rd generation VHF D-Star repeater. This is run in FM Mode only. It transmits on 145.6000MHz and receives on 145.0000MHz. with a CTCSS of 82.5 Hz It is an Analogue FM Voice repeater. The output power is 25 watts to a commercial 1/2 wave end-fed at 13 feet.
